The fund to support Zuenoula phoenix festival
With the aim of wanting to help the Youth of the city of Zuénoula to be more dynamic and to express its creativity, and more generally to give it a tool to develop its financial autonomy, in order to slow down the exodus towards the big cities.
The objective of this project is to enable young people to remain faithful to their heritage by remaining anchored in traditions and by promoting it. The ZAOULI dance will be honored. I also wish during the course of this festival, to set up a Christmas tree for the orphans of Zuénoula (5 to 10 years).
This is why we need your support. We created this pot in order to collect the most funds to maintain this project until the end. You can give a donation within your means to help us in our goal.
Here is the link of the pot, thank you in advance 🙏 :

“I want to help our youth to be more dynamic and to express their creativity. More generally, to give them the tools to develop their financial autonomy, in order to slow down their exodus to the big cities.”
I am Romeo Bron Bi, I have lived in France since 2013, and I have always wanted to actively participate in the development of the city of Zuénoula. I had to leave my country to develop my dancing career, but I have never forgotten where I come from. I spent my childhood in Zuénoula where my family still lives. I understand the magnitude of the needs of our city and our youth. I am convinced that entertainment is a crucial asset in conveying positive messages. Like being confident in your ability to achieve your dreams, being proud of where you come from and being aware of your responsibilities. All these elements would allow the youngest to be creative and more fulfilled.
Wednesday 23 December 2020: The Zaouli Dance Listed as an international heritage by Unesco, we are committed to promoting it and making everyone aware of its importance.
Thursday December 24, 2020: Christmas tree and Dance competition. I also want to set up a Christmas tree for the orphans of Zuénoula. During my previous visits, I have been touched by these children who, at this end of the year period, find themselves alone while the other children are surrounded by the love of their parents. I realize that I could not give every child a gift. So we had to make a choice. Myself, the father of 2 little girls aged 18 months and 6 years old, I wanted to give a gift to orphans aged 5 to 10. Because Christmas is a moment of sharing, in exchange for this gift, I will ask each child to plant a tree to reforest one of the main streets of Zuénoula.
Friday December 25, 2020: Christmas Day Every family will be able to celebrate Christmas. Small events could be organized by traditional groups from Zuénoula as part of the PHOENIX FESTIVAL.
Saturday December 26, 2020: Maracana Football Tournament 9 a.m.-12 p.m.: First Football Tournament 1 p.m.-2 p.m.: Lunch 2.30 p.m.-5.30 p.m.: Second Football Tournament 5.45 p.m. – 6.30 p.m.: Football meeting between mothers and young girls 8.30 p.m.: Award ceremony for the dance competition for the best Golden Phoenix and a prize for the best team in the Maracaña Tournament Midnight: Launch of the Phoenix Festival ball until dawn
